The DFWTAC Scholarship supports outstanding high school seniors from the DFW metroplex as they begin their journey at Tuskegee University. Each year, we award $10,000 in scholarships, ranging from $1,000 to $3,000, to incoming freshmen. By contributing, you help empower local students to pursue their dreams without financial burden, fostering a sense of pride and community support for their academic success.
The Dora Joyner Legacy (DJL) Scholarship, established in 2020 by Thomas L. Joyner, Jr., honors past President Dora Joyner's dedication to empowering students through education. As President of the Dallas-Fort Worth Tuskegee Alumni Club, Dora prioritized raising funds to support students in need.
The DJL Scholarship provides two $1,000 awards each fall to students facing financial crises that could affect their enrollment or graduation. By contributing, you continue Dora's legacy of ensuring financial constraints don’t limit a student’s potential.
Textbook costs and other miscellaneous fees can hinder students' academic success. To ease this burden, we offer Student Book Scholarships, awarding three students $500 - $750 each semester to help cover these additional expenses.
These scholarships help students focus on their studies without financial stress. By donating, you support an initiative that removes barriers for students striving to succeed.
Final exams are tough, and our $30 Semester Care Packages provide students with snacks and energizing treats to help them stay focused. Your donation fuels their long study sessions and serves as a reminder of community support, empowering them toconfidently tackle academic challengese.
